I beg to differ

"that's your opinion—I beg to differ"

It’s been a running joke for generations: if a husband wins an argument with his wife, he ends up sleeping on the couch—or in another room.

But the real question isn’t “How do I win this argument?”
It’s “What do I actually gain by winning it?”

If winning means I have to cut off my friends, is it really worth it?
Well… if it’s because they voted for a corrupt government in the last election—then yeah, maybe it is.

But – If the price of keeping peaceful life You have now is to 'lose' an argument. Best just let them win.

Your win rate doesn’t need to be 100%. Even if it’s just 1%, as long as you achieve what truly matters to you, isn’t that a worthy sacrifice?

So, if that is really your opinion, I will politely disagree.
