My take on helium browser
I just randomly found about helium browser one day on twitter. and for a few days I am curious since there are diverse browser around and my best takes recently is brave, since it have its own ad-block.
First thing first I imported all of my bookmarks, history and extension from brave.

To be honest it is have a clean and minimalistic feels, the toolbar is kinda looks like un-googled (there's profile but i remove it via settings), aight rather than un-googled version of chrome, I feel like it's more like alternative version of ungoogled chromium. The minimalistic one, and it feels calm.
First time I watched youtube videos it ask me to fill the captcha, the 2nd time it doesn't ask me anything at all just block the ad and straight to videos.

Im not sure what its function other than quick search for like ddg press tabs type what you need to search enter, then it will search that query within duckduckgo, the same can be done with google, something like... quick search or something.
The feature I like are there split view, but the side tab instead of on the top is not present, but Im okay with it since using brave I have been hogging or cluttering my tabs not closing since it looks like 'hey there's more room to stack my tabs', perhaps top bar will be my cue to stop cluttering it.
Im writing this with version
Version 0.4.12.1 (Official Build, Chromium 140.0.7339.207) (arm64)
And today at 29 Sep 2025 there's official update and I need to relaunch, I will perhaps write more if found anything fascinating or dissapointing. cheers🥂
